How We Build Got It's StartThank you for your interest in well crafted, naturalistic water features. We appreciate your time and consideration, as we welcome you into the wonderful world of water gardening!
At We Build LLC, we design and install beautifully crafted, naturalistic, low maintenance water features of all sizes. From cascading waterfalls into Koi fish and lily filled ponds, to babbling brooks and streams surrounded by aquatic plants, bogs and wetlands, to rainwater harvesting systems (RainXchange™). Our work is inspired by the wonder, intrigue, and magnificence of the natural world around us here in the Virginia Beach, Hampton Roads Areas of Virginia (VA) |

Greg Falvo grew up the youngest of 4 children. Spending most of his free time as a kid in the woods and lakes catching frogs, tadpoles, poison ivy, turtles and fishing! The 80’s – 90’s were a great time to be a kid. After graduating high school in Newport News, he made an attempt at college. He did well in school and always loved to learn but he knew quickly college wasn’t for him. So, he signed up for Navy in December of 2002. He didn’t know it at the time but it was the first best life changing decision he ever made. He became a Builder with the Navy Seabees.
By the time he was 20 years old he was on his first deployment to Kuwait in 2004. Upon returning from deployment he was honorably discharged from Active duty in 2005. He became an active reservist in 2007 and loves every minute of being able to serve his country. He deployed in 2008 to Iraq and in 2012 to Honduras, where he has received numerous awards for constructing troop housing, hospitals and a school house. He volunteers a lot of his free time with the American Legion Post 280 in Chesapeake, participated at several volunteer events with the Vetshouse in Virginia Beach, and also projects at South East Training Center in Chesapeake. You will not find another pond builder in south east Virginia that gives back that much to their community. Greg’s goal in is to be able to participate in the Aquascapes Foundation missions in the future, to help provide clean drinking water to countries less fortunate than ours. |

After a 5-year business venture doing bathrooms and kitchens with a business partner Greg decided in was time to for him to find out how he could help his customer- Not just by providing a fantastic service and experience for them but to help make a difference in his customers lifestyles and hopefully a niche that would help his business be more successful. So, he rebranded his company and became a Certified Aquascape Contractor (the second-best decision he ever made) so his customers can live the Aquascape lifestyle. His goal is to create magical spaces and for his customers to have a fantastic experience. For the past 3 years We Build LLC has been creating and maintaining backyard paradises. Our slogan is “We Build Dreams into Realities”. So as your backyard specialist we are here to help you with your waterfalls, ponds, fish, decks, pergolas, outdoor kitchens etc.! Within the next 5 years we would love to have a small retail location where we can help by having fish, plants, and product available for you.
